Hi, My name is Dale Dearing, Broker at C.A. Smith Real Estate. I was raised in Tucson Arizona where I worked in various different professions and learned to love many different activities, especially sports. I knew from the time I was young that I did not want to spend my life in a big city and when I heard about a friend making a living in Port Orford catching salmon, my new wife and I packed our bags and headed out.

The first time I came to this town, I wondered why there weren't about a million people living here because it is the most beautiful place I have ever seen, and I have traveled quite a bit. I commercial fished for 15 years, and loved the experience and freedom of traveling up and down the coast chasing salmon.

In 1991 I decided to get out of fishing and become a real estate agent. I went to work at C.A. Smith Real Estate in April of 91 and have been here ever since. In 1996 we bought the agency and it has been my goal to continue giving the honest and quality service that this agency has built it's reputation on for the last 29 years. I love living on the Oregon coast and enjoy so many outdoor activities here, such as fishing, water sports, motorcycling, windsurfing etc. This is a sportman's paradise! I truly enjoy working with people and helping others to find the same dream we found here 24 years ago. Hi, my name is Patrick Laudel. I moved to the Oregon coast 2 years ago, relocating from the Bay Area. (Berkeley). Even though I am a fairly new resident, I have fallen in love with the lifestyle that the Oregon coast offers. Believing that a person can only sell a product he truly believes in, I decided that I should sell real estate here in Port Orford. Of course, I am not just selling real estate, but the quality of life that this beautiful area and coast line offer.

My interests in life have been varied, and as you can see from the photo, I am an avid motorcycle enthusiast. It amazes me how many beautiful and uncrowded roads there are to ride in this area. I also worked for years as a high tech automotive diagnostician. My other main interest is wine and the growing of wine grapes. I have spent many years studying wines, quality of wines and how to grow quality grapes and produce quality wines.
